Metallographic Description

Very small grains with annealing twins. The specimen is very "dirty," with many dark, rough, irregular inclusions and a few blue-gray inclusions. The dark inclusions are lined up in the same direction, though the annealing twins are straight and no strain marks were seen. The dark inclusions are not copper oxide. This is an impure copper. Worked, annealed, possibly several times. The last act was an anneal.
