Structure: As-cast.
Metallographic description: Probably artifactual. The structure is cored dendritic; heavy corrosion has obliterated any second phase but retains the jagged shape of alpha+delta eutectoid. Numerous gas voids pockmark the specimen, some of which are filled or partially filled by twinned redeposited copper or corrosion. Corroded dendrites appear to be largely of cuprite.
