Alloy: bronze.
Where Cut: Blade: cross-sectional slice taken from middle of blade; includes central shaft. Sckt: unknown
How Mounted: cross-section of blade mounted cut side up.
Structure: Post-casting treatment
Metallographic description: Blade: Granular with considerable corrosion interdendritically. There are very strong mechanical strain marks in a few grains, but they are not concentrated on the edges. The artifact suffered some kind of compression or deformation, perhaps during the bending of the blade. Socket: same as blade, but at the tip, the grains are smaller, with more twinning. Cast, partial working at least in the socket, some annealing, a little working or deformation in the blade.
