Metallographic Description

The structure is one of fine distorted and strain marked grains. There is some banding. Annealing twins can be seen, some showing distortions. The blue-gray nonmetallic inclusions are flattened. SN estimates that the artifact was worked at least 50%. There are extensive patches of corrosion, but not intergranularly.
