Corrosion has advanced since the previous photomicrograph was taken. Close-up of large twinned redeposited grain of copper.

As-cast.

Metallographic Description

Cored dendritic, with much interdendritic corrosion. No second phase remains, though some of the corrosion reflects the jagged shape one expects of alpha+delta eutectoid. Twinned redeposited copper has filled some large gas voids. Along one side, there are what appears to be corroded strain marks.
