Structure: Post-casting treatment
Metallographic description: Pronounced cored dendritic structure; gas porosity throughout. There is redeposited copper and alpha+delta eutectoid in the interdendritic spaces. There is evidence of some deformation, with strain lines in the grains as well as bent twins in the redeposited copper. Lead globules are visible.
