Structure: As-cast.
Metallographic description: The main body of the sample is dendritic, with some residual coring and copious quantities of alpha+delta eutectoid. On the edges are what appear to be the remains of tin segregation. PIXE reveals that this segregated band is composed of 35% tin. Just inside the band the specimen is heavily corroded, but remains of numerous strain marks can be seen.
