How Mounted: both halves mounted cut side up in same mount
Structure: As-cast.
Metallographic description: Cored dendritic, with heavy interdendritic corrosion. Numerous gas voids are filled with twinned redeposited copper. Several long cracks are oriented in the same direction; these are probably stress cracking.
